Accessible Clubs
We are pleased to offer accessible golf clubs, which have adapted club heads that adjust to sit flush to the playing surface, in line with the height of the player and position of play. At the top of the club, there is a rubber ball return pocket to retrieve your golf ball from the hole or in and around the courses. Please note, that the golf shaft for the accessible club is not extendable or retractable.
All other golf clubs are standardised, and available in three sizes; adult, child, and toddler, which can be used universally for all left and right-handed players. Clubs are all available from the Check-In Desk, and please do request an accessible golf club upon arrival should you require one.
Sensory Information
Adventure Golf is a large indoor attraction with three Lego-themed mini golf courses.
In the entrance lobby, you can find the Check-In Desk, Tee Time Café, Free Build Tables, Seating Area, & Toilets.
On the courses, the floor surface is brightly coloured painted and the playing surface is astroturfed. There are also many large Lego model characters present, fitting with the theme of the courses.
Overhead lighting panels as well as LED spotlights hang across the ceiling of the venue, emitting artificial lighting. There is more natural light in the main entrance area by the glass doors and windows.
There is also Lego Adventure Golf overlay audio-music present, however, with players and spectators alike communicating with one another, noise can echo around the venue.
Please note, that some holes feature interactive elements with added lights and sounds, increasing visual and audio stimuli. For those with additional sensory needs, we would recommend wearing ear defenders when playing.
Wheelchair Information
LEGO City Adventure is not wheelchair accessible, however, we do have two other courses which are accessible.
Please ensure to contact the Accessibility Experience Team here, with your booking confirmation number, so we can ensure one of these courses is made available to you.
Please note: in some areas of the course, there will be a small lip to ensure golf balls do not run too far off the course.
The course playing surface is astroturfed with the tee-off point and putting hole being wheelchair accessible via the entry and exit points of each hole.
At times, you may be required to play shots alongside the course, with the wheelchair running parallel to the side of the playing area for shots taken between the tee-off point and putting hole. There is floor space in between and around the majority of holes on each course to manoeuvre the wheelchair into your desired playing position.
For shots that fall into areas that may not be directly accessible with a wheelchair from either side of the course, the carer may be required to retrieve the ball on the playing surface and bring it back to the previous position, before replaying the shot to continue game play.
Please also note, that there is a small gap from ground level to the playing surface at all nine holes on each course and wheelchairs can be directly taken up onto the playing surface via the accessible ramps.
We would strongly recommend speaking with the Golf Team who will be roaming the courses and able to advise you on the best approach to an enjoyable, yet accessible gameplay.
Wheelchair Hire
At the current time, there are no wheelchairs available to hire from Adventure Golf and the Resort will review accessible hire options from this venue in the near future.
Should you require wheelchair hire for Adventure Golf, upon arrival, please speak with our Admissions Team at the Ticket Office, located in the Beginning area, a very short walk away from Adventure Golf premises.
Please note, that you will require either a full-priced or online admission ticket for entry into the main Resort. You’ll also need to collect a re-entry stamp at the Ticket Gates if you’re returning to the Park after your golf session.
Ride Access Pass
The Ride Access Pass is not available to use at Adventure Golf with this experience being a second-gate attraction. The online timeslot booking process schedules a staggered-controlled entry for admission to manage playing numbers. We would recommend arriving 15 minutes before your timeslot to minimise queuing upon arrival for check-in. Please also note, that there may be a short wait at each hole when completing the course with other parties playing ahead of your own. The wait time on the course will depend on the speed of gameplay.
Quiet Time Slots
We do have a Quiet Hour available at Adventure Golf! This will operate on the first Saturday of every month (on open days) from 4 pm - 5 pm. The timeslots have a limited capacity to ensure a less busy experience for our guests with additional needs and sensory issues.
During the Quiet Hour, there will be adjusted lighting and reduced sounds.
You can book to visit during our Quiet Hour here. When booking for our Quiet Hour, guests will also have the option to add a Carer Ticket to the booking. If booking a carer ticket, please ensure that you provide all relevant documentation upon arrival.
