Not all rides are suitable for everyone. You know your circumstances and abilities best, so we would recommend you plan ahead. To do this, you can talk through your access needs with our teams and check which rides will be suitable for you before you visit.
Before enjoying each ride and attraction, we recommend that you please read the safety instructions at the ride entrance, on the Ride Restriction boards or in the Accessibility Guide. Each ride restrictions board displays instructions for the safety of guests.
If you require further information, please contact our Accessibility Experience Team via email on Accessibility.Experience@LEGOLAND.co.ukor on the day speak to a member of staff who would be happy to assist you further.
Accessibility Guide & Ride Flashcards
We have created an Accessibility Guide to explain the requirements for each ride and we strongly recommend that you read this in advance of your visit and use it on the day.

We also have Accessibility Ride Flashcards available to download here.

Ride Restrictions
Here at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, we are committed to keeping you safe so you can focus on having fun. Any ride restrictions we do have are in place are there to keep you safe, and it is important for your safety to follow our guidelines.
Each guest on a ride or attraction is responsible for riding properly for their own safety and the safety of others. Please follow the instructions posted and provided by the ride operators. Guests who are demonstrating an unwillingness to ride must be calm and acknowledge their willingness to ride to the operator before the ride will begin. Most attractions require that guests must be able to sit upright with or without the assistance of a guardian or carer. This is to ensure a safe riding position for all guests.
Certain rides and attractions in our resort can be physically demanding and vigorous. Guests health and safety is our top priority; therefore, we reserve the right to refuse admission to any ride should we feel there is a danger to a particular individual for any reason. We have been advised by the health and safety executive that refusal on the grounds of health and safety does not constitute discrimination.
Do not ride if your health could be at risk or you could aggravate a pre-existing condition. Review the Ride and Restrictions signposted at each ride and attraction for any potential risk before riding.

Guests with Reduced Mobility
We would recommend guests with reduced mobility apply for the Ride Access Pass, which enables the user to wait the queue time outside of the main queue line. The user would therefore be able to access the ride using the Ride Access Pass queue line. Rides with a lift are indicated by signage outside the ride.
Rides Restraints
Some of our rides have restraints that must be positioned and secured prior to the ride cycle beginning. If the restraint is unable to reach the safe locking position, the guest would not be able to ride. None of our rides have any specific weight limits.
Our Rides and Attractions do vary in their safety restraint features. However, please be advised our rides and attractions which have no restraints, include:
Fire Academy
Fairy Tale Brook
Coastguard HQ
Pirate Falls
LEGOLAND Express
DUPLO Express
Aero Nomad
Hill Train
Splash Safari & Drench Towers

Ride Closures/Evacuations
Evacuating a ride could happen at any point, such as the top of a coaster or in the middle of a ride. It is therefore important that we follow the ride restrictions for your safety as we don’t always know when we will need to evacuate or stop a ride.
In the unlikely event of an unplanned closure of a ride, guests on the ride must stay calm, remain seated and secured by their restraint, and follow instructions given by the ride operators. Guests may be required to navigate stairs, narrow walkways, or ladders. If a guest requires assistance exiting the attraction, a member of their party may provide the assistance and our LEGOLAND team will be able to assist.
Plus, wherever we can, we are making changes to our rides with evacuation equipment that reduces restrictions. Our aim is to ensure there is something for every visitor to enjoy at each attraction.
If you require further information, please contact our Accessibility Experience Team via email at Accessibility.Experience@LEGOLAND.co.uk or on the day speak to a member of staff who would be happy to assist you further.
