Evacuating a ride could happen at any point, such as the top of a coaster or in the middle of a ride. It is therefore important that we follow the ride restrictions for your safety as we don’t always know when we will need to evacuate or stop a ride.
In the event of an evacuation you may be asked to leave a ride unaided. This may mean walking or climbing a ladder without assistance. Any restrictions in place are guided by industry best practice, manufacturer guidelines and independent third parties. We also work with leading accessibility charities and organisations for advice and best practice.
Plus, wherever we can, we are making changes to our rides with evacuation equipment that reduces restrictions. Our aim is to ensure there is something for every visitor to enjoy at each attraction.
