The initial access route is sloped before reaching the main queue line. At the bottom of the entrance slope, there is an access gate, manned by our Head Elf or Grotto Manager, which can be used for entry for those with wheelchairs or mobility aids.
The Christmas Kingdom is fully wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible in and around the Tree Forest. Please be mindful of your surroundings and low-lying tree branches, which may encroach the pathways. There is step-free access throughout and the pathways are hard sand based, which allows for traction and grip on the surfaces for both wheelchair and mobility scooters. Your Grotto Elf will guide you through the Forest to our designated Accessible Christmas Cabin upon entry and exit, once inside the Kingdom. This Cabin has an in-built accessible ramp, for those requiring additional assistance.
At the Christmas Cabin, there is a double entrance door from the outdoor porch area leading into the Cabin. Inside the Cabin, there is room for a maximum of six persons, including one wheelchair user to manoeuvre into position, seated opposite Father Christmas. Please be advised however, due to spatial arrangements within the Cabin, mobility scooters will not be permitted inside and required to be left on the outdoor porch area.
If you have any further questions or queries before visiting, please do contact ‘accessibility.experience@legoland.co.uk’ detailing the nature of your enquiry, who will advise accordingly.
Alternatively, please speak with a member of the Grotto Team upon arrival to the Christmas Kingdom, should you need any additional assistance.
